Meet the Principals
Terry Blake
Managing Director
Prior to recruitment Terry worked abroad for a number of years in Sales, Business development, Transport & Logistics, Construction & Manufacturing.
Terry now has over 20 years’ experience in recruitment at all levels, having started out in a ‘not for profit’ company to working with several tier 1 nationally recognised agencies.
He also established an office in Brisbane for an international recruitment company building a successful company with 21 affiliated to 25 consultants.
After many years of working for several recruitment companies, he decided to create Blake Personnel which after 6 successful years became Blake National Placements (BNP), this was done to build a national footprint and presence.
Terry established BNP to give a "reinvented" style of recruitment with a team of consultants who have worked in the industries they now recruit for.
His philosophy is ‘It’s all about building relationships, being genuine and having positive out-comes for everyone’.
Sandra Buckley
National Manager - Contact Centre and Administration
Sandra started her career in the Commonwealth Bank Call Centre 30 years ago and quickly worked her way through the ranks to senior management.
She has managed multiple national contact centres, from small 3 people centres to large multi-faceted centres, in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, insurance and banking.
Her philosophy when she was recruiting new staff, was to find people with the right attitude who would fit the culture, as the product could always be taught.
Sandra has also established Contact Centres from the ground up and has been responsible for all of the staffing requirements, training, processes and procedures that go with creating a brand new Contact Centre.
Through her experience in managing admin & contact centre teams, she truly understands the wants & needs of contact centres, the type of staff that are suitable and that have the demeanour to be long term employees.
Sandra is now using her knowledge & skills to recruit quality staff for the Contact Centre and Administration industries.
